:new: THERE IS HOPE. After my first class today I ran over to Financial Aid. They gave me a paper and told me to talk to PAM. After waiting about an hour for Pam in Student Accounts, I find out that apparently I never did my Perkins Loan and that a letter went out about it. Which is very odd because neither my parents nor I remember receiving this letter in the mail. Anyway, it took an hour basically to fill and read four pages of tiny government print and for her to explain every little detail about this loan. Pam is a very nice lady though and took away my hold! So I run to my advisor's office...NOT IN, I run to the library to e-mail him...EVERY COMPUTER IS TAKEN, and I finally ended up borrowing my friends laptop to e-mail him. I gave any course I could. So many courses were closed and I could have gotten them if I wasn't screwed over. When I got home he registered me! So I have classes and 17 credits and I can relax about it now.

Unfortunately I still have to deal with my Science and Science Fiction Seminar since it's a YEAR long. I have to say though even though I don't like the topic I'm happy that my professors put up with my dysfunctional spastic self. :XD:

I'm continuing into part two of Japanese 1. I'm super happy because I adore sensee. I was afraid I wasn't going to see her again.

The new stuff I'll be taking:

FOUNDATIONS OF PHILOSOPHY - An introductory course in philosophy, using representative selections from the major conceptual systems: idealism, rationalism, empiricism. Basic texts from Plato, Aristotle, stoics, medievals and modern philosophy of 17th-19th centuries. The student will confront definitions of reality, knowledge and morality and the analysis and critique of modes of argumentation.

I get general education credit for it. I also wanted to take Introduction to Sociology but guess what...it was closed! At least I got this one to start.

RELIGIONS OF JAPAN - Survey of Japanese religious traditions, beginning with Shinto, its indigenous religion, and including Japan's particular adaptation of the Chinese traditions of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, especially Zen. In addition, the "New Religions" of post-WWII will be considered.

AND THIS IS THE REALLY COOL ONE!

CREATURES, SPIRITS, ALIENS - Course compares Japanese and American horror and science fiction films and stories, using visual arts (anime, manga, film) and literary genres (science fiction, folk stories. Among the topics covered are evil spirits and demons, alien encounters, science fiction adventure, supernatural creatures, and ghost stories.

Both of these courses do absolutely nothing for my general education but I would rather take them and not get gen ed credit then be stuck with a really awful gen ed course and fail because nothing was left. :faint:

I checked this morning and 2D Design CLOSED. But I e-mailed the professor that teaches it and I'm waiting to see if I can be signed in. If I can I'm going to drop Religions of Japan. I really wanted at least one art course spring semester. *crosses fingers*

Otherwise I can relax a little now. Thanks for the hugs and love! :tighthug:

JUST MY LUCK... seriously. Once again stress is affecting my body. I've been going constantly since school has started without any rest and basically living off of Dunkin Donut caramel latte's. I'm probably suffering from a caffeine withdrawal now because the amount of sugar and caffeine in those at least once is day would probably kill me if I kept on drinking them. So I'm going back to good ole regular coffee and tea here and there. *wants to go make some green tea right now* But in addition to that my body is starting to get run down. This past Monday night out of nowhere I felt like I couldn't breathe, my body got really shakey, and then I felt like crying for no reason. And after talking to ~WTF-RedVira on the phone all night to distract myself and I ended up not going to school Tuesday. And because I didn't go to school Tuesday I missed getting my registration paper signed and apparently the foundational ideas of quantum mechanics, whatever new topic in Japanese, and the first day my drawing class has nude models. I woke up at 1 PM that afternoon, mostly because my back started to hurt from laying down so much. I have to still make up art work for Friday for drawing and I have a quiz on all of katakana...KATAKANA ALL LOOKS THE SAME. I have a whole new appreciation for hiragana now.

So I literally did nothing all Tuesday. It was wonderful. And I find out from my advisor that I'm eligible to register for spring courses 8 AM today. Being a freshman really sucks because every single class is basically closed by now. I'm pretty sure I'm guaranteed to get into my Seminar and Japanese. The other three classes I have to take I'm concerned about. And I was happy because I got AP credit so I was able to start to registering earlier because of it. I e-mail my advisor my courses so he can register me because I had class from 8:00-10:40 AM and I had to run home after school so I couldn't wait in line all day. I didn't hear back from him until sometime this afternoon because his child is sick and he had to stay home. The thing that REALLY pissed me off though he tells me TODAY that apparently I have an accounts hold and something with a payment is messed up and that I have to find out what the problem is with the Student Accounts office. WTF. My dad has all the paper work. They have all their money. I called the office today hoping they would by some crazy chance they'd answer or call back so I can solve the problem as quickly as possible but no. My college refuses to answer phones or even touch them I think. So tomorrow I have to bust into Student Accounts and demand to know what the hell the issue with payments is. Because according to the paper work I have nothing should be wrong. AND if because they messed up and 2 Dimensional Design closes, Lizzie is not going to be a happy camper. I basically can't fit any art history spring semester so I'm counting on 2D to knock another one off my gigantic list of BFA requirements.

To add to annoying scheduling conflicts, of course the year I start this school the general education requirements are changed. For everyone enrolled prior to Fall 2009 they only need 6 credits in I think 4 out of the 5 areas of I guess "liberal arts." For students enrolled Fall 2009, they compiled a list of courses that they feel meet the requirements. So now my options are even more limited. *crosses fingers to get classes that aren't horribly awful*

*twitches* It's the final stretch though. Thanksgiving break, even though it's small, is soon! Then it's just surviving finals and final projects and then seriously...I think I might sleep for a week straight. I NEED CHRISTMAS BREAK SO BAD RIGHT NOW.

Sorry for the rant. :faint:

I BRING YOU...BLOOPERS:[link]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow! November is FLYING by for me.

I don't really know where the random photography dump came from. I was looking through photo's I've taken and started to play with them and liked them enough to upload them. I still don't think photography is my thing, but once and awhile I can get a pretty good picture.

I'm working on very delayed Otakon pictures every free moment I get now. Future note: HOTELS MAKE EVERYTHING ORANGE/YELLOW. Or at least the ones we've gone too. We really need to work on better lighting when we go places. So the pictures from Connecticon and Otakon may seem a bit odd because I'm trying to suck out the orange color without losing all the color.

I'm also working on the Bloopers video to our Interview with the Vampire videos.

I've been so lazy with working on cosplays it's ridiculous. :shakefist:

School's been keeping me way too busy. I've been trying to at least keep up with watching anime and that isn't even working so well. I don't think Thanksgiving break will give me enough time to do anything productive especially since I'll probably be working constantly on my Easy Kana workbook, 92 pages that have to be completely done for when I come back from break. I can't wait until Christmas break!

I have a TON of artwork I'd like to upload soon. I've been so busy making the art I haven't had enough time to actually photograph it nicely/scan it and get it up here. Art classes have been going really good for me. Right now my school is having class shows and two of my drawings from my Fundamentals of Drawing class have been selected to go into another exhibition. That just made up for all the slaving over art homework and juggling three art classes this semester!

I have a trip to The Met this Saturday to draw from the Greek and Roman sculptures and I start with nude models in my drawing class on Tuesday. You don't know how happy I am to be done with still lives.

I'm happy this is the like final stretch for the semester. I really need that Christmas break. I haven't even figured out my Spring semester classes yet and need to register on Wednesday/Thursday. :ohnoes:

And hopefully GenericCliche can accomplish some things during December!
